Sub-processors

At NILALIFE, we are committed to transparency and protecting the privacy and security of the data entrusted to us by our Facilities and their patients. To provide our comprehensive suite of services (nilaHealth, Mobile Apps, and related integrations), we engage with certain trusted third-party service providers, known as sub-processors.

A sub-processor is a third-party vendor engaged by NILALIFE that may have access to or process Service Data (which may include personal data or PHI) on behalf of our Facilities. We conduct due diligence on the security and privacy practices of our sub-processors and require them to commit to appropriate data protection terms, including confidentiality obligations and security measures, often through Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) or Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) where applicable under frameworks like HIPAA.

Below is a list of the primary sub-processors we currently use to support the delivery of our Services. This list may be updated periodically, and we will notify Facilities of any significant changes as outlined in our Terms & Conditions or Service Agreements.

Cloud Infrastructure Providers

  • Microsoft Azure

    • Purpose: To host the nilaHealth platform, store Facility Data securely, and ensure availability.
    • Location of Processing (Primary): India Regions

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)

    • Purpose: To host the nilaHealth platform, store Facility Data securely, and ensure availability.
    • Location of Processing (Primary): India Regions

(Note: The specific Cloud Infrastructure provider (Azure, AWS) used may depend on the specific deployment agreed upon with the Facility or NILALIFE's operational choices, always prioritizing HIPAA compliance capabilities and data residency within India where feasible.)

Communication Providers

  • Zoho (ZeptoMail)

    • Service: Email Delivery Service
    • Purpose: To send transactional emails (e.g., notifications, invoices) on behalf of the Facility.
    • Location of Processing (Primary): India

  • MSG91

    • Service: SMS & WhatsApp Messaging Service
    • Purpose: To send OTPs for verification, appointment reminders, and other notifications via SMS/WhatsApp.
    • Location of Processing (Primary): Global, India

  • AWS SNS

    • Service: Mobile Push Notification Service
    • Purpose: To send notifications to users of the NILALIFE mobile applications.
    • Location of Processing (Primary): India

    • Service: Website & Service Analytics
    • Purpose: To understand usage patterns of our website and platform for service improvement (privacy-focused, no cookies).
